Sophos has launched its new partner program, MSP Elevate, to help partners meet the demand of growing MDR needs.

According to the cybersecurity vendor, the new program will help MSPs expand their business with cyber offerings that help their customers.

Chris Bell, senior vice president of global channel, alliances and corporate development at Sophos told CRN Australia the program was born out of the company’s understanding of the needs of MSPs.

He said Sophos is committed to enabling their MSP partners to further grow their business and reward their success.

“At the same time, growing demand for MDR services identified an opportunity to help our partners streamline their MDR sales process while offering a differentiated, high-calibre solution,” he said.

“The result is the MSP Elevate program – which provides exclusive access to Sophos solutions, discounts, rebates, and training to help MSPs meet those demands.”

Bell explained how MSPs can be profitable through the new partner program. He said it provides “multiple opportunities” for partners to increase footprint and profitability.

“Firstly, the exclusive MDR solution offering and compelling network hardware discounts help MSPs win new customers and extend the defences of their existing clients,” he said.

“They can also further monetise the program through the provision of additional deployments services and support. Furthermore, by streamlining both the sales process and the day-to-day management efforts, partners can considerably reduce their admin overheads, freeing up valuable billable hours.”

Sophos MSP Elevate program benefits includes exclusive access to the Sophos MDR bundle for MSP, simplified sales processes, discounted network-in-a-box hardware bundle, growth-based rebates, architect-level training courses, and invites to exclusive Sophos summits.

The network-in-a-Box bundles enables MSPs to manage the full network stack through the unified Sophos Central platform.

"Because Sophos’s network solutions respond automatically to threats across the customer environment, MSPs can elevate their customers’ defences without adding to their workload,” Bell explained.

“Further, the discounts provided on the hardware empowers partners to prioritise their own profitability.”

In Australia, more than 500 partners are already a part of Sophos’ partner program. Bell said he anticipates most of its existing Australian partners will join the MSP Elevate program.

"Our MDR revenue via MSPs in APJ grew by an incredible 63 percent last financial year, demonstrating the tremendous business opportunity Sophos MDR provides for our partners and the strength of demand for our solution,” he added.

Bell said Sophos is “laser-focused” on continuing to develop its own MSP programs and solutions.

“We are committed to co-evolving our business in lockstep with our partners and are excited that MSP Elevate is the latest step in that journey,” he ended.
