Australian telecommunications provider Superloop has launched its Superloop Partner program as a two-tier initiative.

According to the telco, the Superloop partner program is designed to bring the best tools, systems, and partners under one brand. Some of the benefits of this program include flexible contract options, digital experience, and enhanced support.

The partner program will be accessible via a self-service portal called Krypton, delivering a streamlined digital experience where partners can access an expanded product portfolio, including security offerings and troubleshooting capabilities.

Vanessa Langfield, head of channel sales at Superloop told CRN Australia the two-model system was built as they know not all partners are the same.

The models are an upfront/ongoing commission structure and an MSR model. The MSR model allows for partners to receive discounts and more reductions when they hit certain spend thresholds.

Langfield said, “We've long had a successful Partner Program under our Exetel brand. With the launch of Superloop in earnest in 2023, we've seen demand for Superloop solutions grow.

“The launch of the Superloop Partner Program is us meeting that moment.”

In building out this program, Langfield said they consulted partners.

“Right at the ideation stage we engaged some of our Exetel partners (part of the Superloop group) and gathered their feedback and requirements,” she said.

“We talked through what improvements they'd like to see, and existing pain points, and how we could make it easier to sell and support their customers. Their feedback was fundamental in creating the Superloop Partner Program.”

This partner program is looking to solve a number of pain points for its customers.

“Like the ease of qualifying and pricing up for customers when on site or determining what's best solution for the customer - that can be done through the portal,” Langfield explaned.

“Secondly, not having to call and wait in queues. With the ticketing system they can track their customer's requests in real time. And importantly, the support. Yes, we have the self-service portal, but we also have a really robust, experienced account management team who are there to support partners.”

Langfield said the Superloop partner program differs to its competitor’s programs in several ways.

“Firstly, we don't have size barriers to entry. We're keen to build relationships with partners small and big,” she explained.

“Secondly, we offer different models for commission. And perhaps our greatest point of difference is the first-to-market, award-winning innovations that Superloop delivers.”

Apart from helping their partners generate revenue, Langfield said the company’s aim is to try and help their partner grow their business.

“In addition, we're trying to help our partners grow their business, keep their customers happy with reliable, high-speed internet, great products, and exceptional support,” she said.

“We're also making things easier for our partners by giving them more control and flexibility with a self-service portal that gives them visibility of ticketing and tracking, and the confidence that all of this is supported by a dedicated account management team.”

Superloop has also launched the new Refreshify tool that will be available in the partner program.

Officially released last December for Superloop customers, the tool puts end-to-end fault checking and fixing into the customer’s hand.

“When a customer taps the Refreshify button in their Superloop app, Refreshify checks their internet service for everything,” Langfield noted.

“If it’s an nbn fault, Refreshify will auto-arrange an nbn technician appointment so we can get the customer’s service back online, fast.”

Dave Kempe, managing partner at IT services and consulting group Sol1 commends the program.

“As a long-time Superloop partner, I’ve seen firsthand the dedication and innovation that goes into their programs,” he said.

“The Superloop Partner Program, which I was fortunate to consult on, will be a game-changer providing unparalleled support and resources that allow partners like Sol1 to meet our clients' needs more effectively. I highly recommend other partners looking to grow their business join and experience the benefits for themselves.”

The Superloop Partner Program is structured to provide maximum flexibility and support to its partners. The program is open to all IT channel organisations in the small to medium market.
