xAmplify has acquired Green Cloud Consulting, part of a long-term plan to lead in the adoption of innovative digital services across Australia’s governments and enterprises.

“This acquisition is another step toward building the capabilities, workforce and partnerships needed to deliver on that vision,” said Wayne Gowland, CEO, xAmplify.

xAmplify has strong capabilities in automation, AI and digital transformation, but it lacked ERP specialisation, which is often the foundation in enterprise digital transformation. Green Cloud Consulting brings deep specialisation in TechOne ERP, creating an integrated platform across core business functions and processes.

“This means we can now support clients from the very beginning of their transformation, from modernising core finance, HR, and asset systems, through to layering in automation, AI and advanced workflows,” he said.

The acquisition comes amid a persistent skills shortage. Half of Australian workers lack at least one digital skill required for their role, with the most common gaps in areas such as AI, cybersecurity and data analytics, according to the Australian Computer Society 2025 Digital Pulse report.

xAmplify aims to bolster national capabilities and workforce to support widespread adoption of digital services.

“The skills gap is one of the biggest barriers to digital transformation in Australia, and a mix of smarter systems and stronger workforce pathways can help bridge that,” he said.

Integration is being carefully managed across both organisations to ensure the combined capability delivers a seamless experience from day one. No redundancies have occurred, and the move opens up career opportunities for employees, Gowland said.

“By bringing Green Cloud Consulting into the fold, alongside our recent acquisition of CTO Group and investment backing from Macquarie, we’re creating a national platform that can accelerate digital system modernisation at scale,” said Gowland.

This acquisition expands xAmplify’s geographic and market presence across the east coast, with offices in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast and plans to be a national business by the end of 2026.

“We can provide transformation that is locally relevant, agile and aligned with the needs of government and industry. It gives clients confidence they’re working with a partner who understands the national context and can move quickly to deliver outcomes,” he said.

For customers, Gowland wants the combination to improve measurable outcomes such as faster implementation, better efficiency and clearer reporting.

“These are tangible results that help leaders show value to stakeholders while also building the foundations for long-term growth,” he said.
