Zebra Technologies has opened its new headquarters in Melbourne in a move to help partners take advantage of real-world scenarios through the company’s technology.

The new headquarters will also house the new expanded experience centre based in Hawthorn East, replacing the Glen Waverly facilities.

The experience centre is designed to transform customer and partner engagements by showcasing Zebra’s products and facilitating digital transformation.

Tom Christodoulou, sales VP Australia, New Zealand, and India Sub-Continent at Zebra Technologies told CRN Australia how their partners will benefit from this new experience centre.

“They’ll also benefit from interactive tech demonstrations, hands-on workshops, and networking events. More importantly, they will have the opportunity to co-innovate with our experts to address specific customer needs,” he said.

Christodoulou said their new Zebra experience centre transforms how their valued partners engage with their customers by providing hands-on access to Zebra’s technologies across sectors, including manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and transport & logistics.

“It also serves as a platform for partners to validate solutions with end users, arrange customised demonstrations, and deliver tailored customer training,” he explained.

Christodoulou added, “We also ensure our partners are well-equipped to deliver value to their customers through frequent engagement and innovation showcases at our new Zebra experience centre in Melbourne, as well as the dedicated local support from our ANZ team.”

Zebra’s expansion in ANZ occurs amid rapid growth in the region, reflecting an increase in market share for rugged mobile computers, RFID devices, and label printers.

The relocation to central Melbourne positions Zebra even closer to many of its customers and partners.

Christodoulou added, “This investment underscores Zebra’s long-term commitment to the ANZ region, with a focus on fostering collaboration and innovation while helping businesses enhance frontline efficiency and intelligent automation with technology.”

Partners comment on the new centre

Several of Zebra’s partners commented on how the new experience centre will benefit them.

Ryan McGrath, group managing director, Peacock Bros said, “Greater access to Zebra’s local expertise and cutting-edge solutions will allow us to deepen collaboration, accelerate innovation, and deliver even more value to our customers across Australia and New Zealand.”

Matt Mooyman, national Sales manager at Insignia said the new experience centre creates an environment which allows then to demonstrate the Zebra product portfolio and use cases in real time.

“As a partner, this helps us more effectively communicate the value of our joint insignia and Zebra offerings, sparking new ideas with clients through tangible, hands-on interactions.” he said.

James Shepherd, CEO, at Renovotec APAC noted that the new centre will elevate the conversation, helping their customers reimagine what’s possible.

“The biggest takeaway we hear is ‘we didn’t know that Zebra did this.’ This solution-driven engagement can’t be replicated through a Webex or PowerPoint presentation,” he ended.
