SAP ANZ chief partner officer Ashley McGibbon has left her role for another director role and Jo Gaines gets a promotion as the new general manager for Asana APAC.
Other movements for this month include a new Adelaide lead for Cloudwerx as it expands across the country and Altis appoints a regional ACT head.

Jo Gaines promoted to GM of Asana APAC
Jo Gaines has been promoted to general manager of Asana APAC, she was previously the head of channel APJ.
She partners closely with Asana’s senior leadership team on long-term planning, business growth in the APJ region and partner initiatives.
In a media statement, she said, “Workforce transformation, AI adoption and lifting team productivity are top of mind for businesses across the region, and Asana is well-placed to help leaders accelerate positive change with the tools they want.
“I am grateful for this opportunity and look forward to working closely with our team across the region.”
Prior to joining Asana in 2023, Gaines held senior leadership roles at Salesforce and Krux Digital.
She is also the Co-Founder of Breaking Glass, an organisation for senior executive women wanting to be part of an inclusive and supportive community of like-minded individuals.
Ashley McGibbon moves from SAP to ServiceNow
The former SAP ANZ chief partner officer has left her role and joined ServiceNow.
At the enterprise software giant, Ashley McGibbon will be the senior director of enterprise sales. She began her role a few weeks ago.
In a LinkedIn post, she said, “There’s real momentum here, and it’s clear we’re ready to deliver AI at scale for customers across ANZ.”
CRN understands that recruitment is currently underway for a new CPO for SAP’s ANZ channel partner ecosystem.
Cloudwerx expands into SA, hires Harsh Mishra to lead the team
Tech consultancy Cloudwerx has expanded into South Australia and appointed Harsh Mishra to lead the new arm of the business.
In his new role, he will build and scale Cloudwerx’s transformation and architecture practice nationally while establishing the firm’s footprint in Adelaide.
What drew him to the role was the “opportunity to operate at scale”.
The move comes as demand accelerates across regulated industries including defence, energy and the public sector, where organisations are shifting toward outcome driven delivery models.
Altis Consulting hires new ACT head
Craig Chapman has been appointed as the new regional leader of ACT for Altis Consulting.
Chapman joins from Deloitte where he was a specialist director.
Chief commercial officer Katrina Pilcher in a statement said, “Chapman brings a valuable combination of deep technical expertise and a genuine ability to connect with people.”
He said it is an “important” time for AI in Canberra.
“AI is creating both opportunity and pressure,” he said in a statement.
“Some organisations are ready to move, others are being asked to act before the foundations are in place. That’s where a practical, implementation-led approach really matters.”
Secolve hires chief security officer
Gijo Varghese has been appointed as Secolve’s chief security officer.
He will lead Secolve’s consultancy and professional services experts to bring cyber security best practices and compliance to even more critical infrastructure providers across the country.
Varghese was previously Endeavour Energy’s cybersecurity leader.
ElevenLabs opens ANZ office and appoints ANZ GM
AI research company ElevenLabs has opened its first office in Sydney hiring Damian Naughton as its GM for the ANZ region.
In his role he will lead its local operations, drive enterprise growth, triple the local team and deepen partnerships across the region.
In a statement, Naughton said, “It’s an incredibly timely moment for us to plant a stake in the ground locally with an office and dedicated team here.
“Organisations are looking to move from experimenting with AI to genuinely running with it, and voice AI is one of the most immediate yet high-impact places to start.”
He was previously the RVP at Slack.
Fastly hires Bruce Bennie as AVP, sales ANZ
Bruce Bennie has been appointed as the new area VP sales for the ANZ region.
Based in Sydney, Bennie will be responsible for overseeing Fastly’s business across the region with a focus on driving growth, deepening customer and partner relationships, fostering innovation and advancing Fastly’s ongoing expansion.
He has more than 30 years of proven leadership and experience in IT sales and business management across the ANZ IT market.
In a press release he said, “The ANZ business has an incredible growth opportunity, and I am committed to helping our customers and partners, both new and existing, achieve transformational results while creating outstanding experiences for their own customers and employees."
