Eyal Hen has joined cybersecurity outfit Coro as its new chief financial officer.

Hen previously served as CFO of Rekor Systems, an AI traffic management firm. In that role, Hen assisted in strengthening governance, internal controls and financial rigour as the company scaled.

Coro CEO Joe Sykora said Hen’s blend of strategic thinking and operational discipline “perfectly aligns where we are heading” in terms of product and corporate culture.

“What’s exciting about this moment at Coro isn’t just one hire,” Sykora said. “It’s the momentum we’re building together.

“When we talk about simplicity, confidence and impact, [it’s] not just marketing speak. It’s how we think about every decision we make from product updates to bringing new leaders like [Hen] into the fold,” he continued.

Hen noted that the CFO’s role isn’t just reporting, but also about being a strategic partner in the company’s future. He said he’s focused on building a solid financial foundation driving smart growth while aligning capital allocation with strategic priorities.

“Our strategic partners are aligned with our go-to-market strategy, and we’re optimistic about our revenue trajectory [this year.]”

Hen said ANZ’s high growth and resilience makes it a key market for Coro, particularly in the SMB segment. Managed security services are a significant opportunity, he added.

“With SMBs making up most businesses within the region, and facing growing regulatory pressures and threats, there’s strong demand for simplified, scalable security solutions,” Hen explained.

Organisations constrained by limited technical and security resources, which Hen categorises as “lean IT,” are a focus for Coro in 2026.

Hen said he joined Coro because the company’s “mission to simplify and scale cybersecurity for underserved organisations is compelling.”

“I’m energised by the opportunity to partner with a leadership team skilled in building category-defining companies and expanding into new markets.”
