AWS Premier Cloud Consulting Partner DNX Solutions has hired Rebecca Sebastian as its new national sales manager as the company eyes growth within the enterprise sector.

Spending the past 25 years in the tech and telco sector, Sebastian saw this role at DNX Solutions as the “perfect alignment of skills” as DNX has expertise within the SMB field, as does Sebastian.

Looking at the company’s position in the market, she said they’re at a “pivotal point”.

“[The company is] growing from that great strength and performance in mid-market and then moving to enterprise,” she told CRN Australia.

"That experience from SMB through to mid-market startup experience, and then more recently, in enterprise, it just gives me a good set of skills to help DNX in their growth ambitions over the little while.”

Not only was it about an aligning of skills and expertise, but culture.

“It was a really important choice for ensuring that that was a cultural fit for me,” she said,

“All the way through the interview process, I really got a sense that this is a company that cares about its people, and it's also recognised as a great place to work.

“The good news is, as I stepped into day seven or day eight, it really aligns with that whole recruitment process. It's a great team, very skilled individuals, and I'm just hoping to contribute to the broader success as we grow.”

As the national sales manager, her role will be to bring structure and foundation to help DNX Solution scale into the enterprise sector.

“As you move into enterprise, more complexity comes with that. So that might be stakeholders, clients, where decision making becomes broader, the sales cycles are longer, and you just have more complexity,” Sebastian noted.

Her role will be to build those sustainable systems that will help scale through that complexity.

"What I bring in that sales function is that clarity, the systems and processes, and also making sure we've got a high performing team,” she said.

“What I mean by that is, we've got not only the skill and capability, but the resilience within the team to be able to service our clients long term, which always is difficult in such a fast paced environment.”

Kelly Griffin, general manager and CTO said hiring Sebastian reflects the maturity inflection point for the organisation.

"We don't want to just help customers migrate to the cloud. We want to make sure that we are truly transforming organisations. We want them to achieve those real and measurable business impacts and goals,” he noted.

“[I’m] super excited about what Sebastian is going to be able to bring to the organisation in a higher level of maturity.

“We talk about raising the bar, and that was one of the key drivers for bringing Sebastian on is her demonstration of being able to raise the bar and take us to where we believe that we have a right to be and aspire to help our customers more.”
