Introducing the CRN Channel Awards Australia 2026 together with the GTIA ANZ Spotlight Awards
Two industry giants are collaborating for the first time in Australia.
The Global Technology Industry Association (GTIA) and CRN Australia are coming together in an Australian industry first combining both respected awards programs into one big night of celebration.
The CRN Channel Awards Australia 2026 together with the GTIA ANZ Spotlight Awards will be the IT channel’s night of nights!
The GTIA ANZ Spotlight Awards shine a light on active leadership, outstanding contributions and innovation that have a positive impact on GTIA and the IT channel around the world.
These awards illuminate an aspirational pathway for individual members who desire to give back to the channel and for innovative ITSPs, vendors and distributors to showcase what makes them special.
The CRN Channel Awards Australia celebrate the outstanding contributions of individuals and teams who make the Australian IT channel truly exceptional.
These teams are the backbone of many thriving channel businesses, and this event is all about recognising their hard work and impact.
MJ Shoer, Chief Community Officer, GTIA explained why the industry association has partnered with CRN Australia.
“Two of the ANZ region's most respected awards programmes. One stage. One community,” he said.
“That's a powerful statement about what the IT channel can accomplish when it works together.”
Shoer explained that CRN and GTIA both have a proven track record of advancing careers and businesses across the globe.
“Combining them amplifies the recognition for everyone involved and sends a clear signal: when the IT channel collaborates, the whole community wins,” he added.

Shoer said MSPs, ITSPs, vendors and distributors across the Australian and greater ANZ region are delivering real outcomes for their customers every day.
“A combined awards programme gives us the opportunity to honour that work on a broader scale,” he said.
“For the businesses and individuals recognised, the credibility that comes with this kind of acknowledgment is something they can build on.
“This is going to be an energetic celebration of everything the ANZ IT channel has achieved, and I can’t wait to be part of it.”
Shoer described the IT channel as the backbone of the global economy, with the people and organisations within it deeply committed to the success of the customers they serve.
“That commitment deserves to be celebrated. Recognition matters not just for those receiving awards, but for everyone watching who is inspired to raise their own bar,” he explained.
“The IT channel drives real innovation and economic impact across the globe, and these awards create the kind of visibility that accelerates growth and inspires the next generation of channel leaders."
Shoer explained GTIA is where the IT channel connects and grows, and this partnership with CRN is a direct expression of that.
“When organisations come together in service of their shared mission, the impact on the community we serve is multiplied.
He ended, “There has never been a more important time for the IT channel to come together, and I hope this partnership inspires others to do exactly that."
The CRN Channel Awards Australia 2026 together with the GTIA ANZ Spotlight Awards will be held on September 17 at the Hyatt Regency Sydney.
