Former Schnieder Electric channel GM heads to Lenovo Australia
Astrid Groves moves to the hardware giant after nearly 17 years at the infrastructure company.
Astrid Groves has been appointed as Lenovo Australia’s new director for distribution and commercial channel.
Prior to her role at Lenovo, Groves was the general manager, channel, alliances and operations where she held that position for four and a half years.
According to Lenovo, Groves will oversee initiatives that strengthen partner enablement, enhance collaboration across the ecosystem, and expand access to Lenovo’s pocket to cloud portfolio through the Lenovo 360 global channel framework.
Her focus will be on equipping partners with the innovation, support and commercial simplicity needed to grow with Lenovo.
In a LinkedIn post, Groves said she was proud of what her and her team at Schnieder achieved together.
“Not because it was easy, but because it mattered — to our partners, to our customers, and to the future we’re all accountable for,” she said.
“To the colleagues, partners, and customers who were part of this journey: thank you for the trust, the challenges, the collaboration, and the laughs. You made the wins sweeter and the chaos survivable.”
She also has experience at Vocus, Dicker Data and CertaOne.
Groves began her role earlier this week.
