Plans to continue to deepen the strong collaboration Dell has built with their partners.
Dell Technologies has selected Richard McLaughlin as its new president for the APJC region.
As president, McLaughlin will drive corporate strategy and sales for APJC representing ANZ, Greater China, India, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and South Asia & Emerging Markets.
Looking at the APJC channel, McLaughlin said his top priority is to “deepen the strong collaboration we’ve built with our partners and work together on our shared goals”.
“With the channel team in the region, we’ll continue to empower our partners to thrive in the AI era by delivering innovative, outcome-driven technology solutions that address real-world challenge,” he said.
“Partnerships are the foundation of everything we do, and I’m committed to fostering meaningful, results-oriented relationships that drive success for everyone involved.”
He added, “I’m excited to work hand-in-hand with our partners to unlock new opportunities, accelerate growth, and create transformative solutions that make a lasting impact.”
McLaughlin said the region has “so much talent, so much energy, and a real hunger for progress”.
“I’ve seen what the teams here are capable of and I’m looking forward to building on the momentum that the teams have built,” he said.
“The opportunities are extraordinary, and I’m eager to work with our partners and help our customers grow, innovate, and thrive in this exciting new era of technology.
“By bringing my global experience and technical expertise to the table, I’m committed to collaborating closely with our teams and partners to drive meaningful growth, deliver impactful solutions, and make a lasting difference across the region.”
McLaughlin most recently served as senior vice president in the sales organisation, overseeing a global team delivering technology solutions to multinational corporations.
Since joining the company in 1999, he has held executive roles including vice president for Americas and director for global accounts in financial services.
McLaughlin said he is “honoured” to build on the foundation the APJC team has established.
“This is an exciting and transformative time for the technology industry, and we are committed to bringing the best of Dell’s technologies and global capabilities to the region,” he said.
McLaughlin tells partners that Dell’s shared achievements have always been rooted in the strength of their partnerships.
“We are committed to supporting their growth and delivering innovative solutions that help customers thrive,” he said.
“With a focus on collaboration, I am here to listen, engage, and work together to drive meaningful outcomes and shared successes.”
McLaughlin succeeds Peter Marrs, who will assume a senior leadership role with Dell’s team in North America.
