Microsoft expands multiparty private offers to Australia
Aims to help Aussie partners get the most out of AI.
Aussie partners now have access to Microsoft’s multipartner private offer in a bid to help them deliver AI to their customers.
For software companies, multiparty private offers through the Microsoft Marketplace give vendors a direct path to grow through accelerated partner-led sales that reach new customers.
Instead of managing separate agreements market by market or reconciling disconnected transactions, Marketplace gives them one commercial platform.
According to Microsoft, multiparty private offers match how customers want to buy with how their ecosystem creates value. For Microsoft, this the next phase of partner-led growth in the region.
In a blog post, Microsoft noted that for channel partners, distributors and SI’s this expansion brings “new ways” for them to participate in marketplace sales.
Marc Havercroft, senior director of partner development Asia at Microsoft wrote on a blog, “Multiparty private offers make it easier to work across your software vendor ecosystem while keeping the customer relationship at the centre, helping you bring differentiated solutions to market faster.
“You can bring your solutions, services, and customers together with your software vendors' offers in a single transaction.”
In a statement, Vicki Batka, chief partner officer at Microsoft ANZ said, "Australian organisations are moving quickly from AI experimentation to real-world deployment, and partners are central to helping customers realise value from those investments.
“Multiparty private offers create new opportunities for Australian partners to collaborate, scale through Microsoft Marketplace, and deliver AI and cloud solutions to more customers, both locally and globally.”
In April this year, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella announced a $25 billion investment into the country’s infrastructure to help grow Australia’s AI infrastructure and knowledge.
In May, Microsoft expanded multiparty private offers to more than 30 countries across Europe, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
It is now available in Japan and South Africa.
