Dicker Data has expanded its CrowdStrike partnership with an aggregation model that enables MSPs and MSSPs to offer the CrowdStrike Falcon platform through flexible monthly consumption.

Dicker Data is finding that organisations are increasingly seeking cybersecurity to be delivered as a managed service, rather than standalone products. This new offering helps partners make that transition by simplifying licensing, operations and service delivery while expanding access to the Falcon platform.

Partners retain ownership of their customer relationships and can deliver security capabilities through high-value services. It also lowers the barrier to entry for partners seeking to expand into managed cybersecurity services without requiring significant upfront investment.

It also provides billing in Australian currency and access to Dicker Data’s local onboarding, enablement and technical support services. The new model is a response to changing market dynamics, according to Pennie Stevens, general manager software Australia and New Zealand, Dicker Data.

“Partners are looking for more accessible ways to take leading cybersecurity solutions to customers without adding unnecessary complexity or upfront investment,” said Stevens.

The company expects this new offering will suit organisations that don’t have the size and needs of enterprises.

“We see a particularly strong opportunity for partners serving SMB and mid-market customers that need enterprise-grade protection without the complexity of managing multiple tools or building security capability from scratch,” she said.

As customers continue to look for simpler ways to improve their security posture, Dicker Data anticipates that more MSPs and MSSPs will see the aggregation model as an opportunity to build recurring, services-led revenue streams while delivering stronger outcomes for their customers.

“We believe there is strong demand in the market for managed cybersecurity services built around leading platforms such as CrowdStrike,” Stevens told CRN Australia.

The addition of CrowdStrike’s MSSP aggregation model builds on Dicker Data’s broader investment into cybersecurity as a strategic growth area for the channel.

In recent years, the company has expanded its cybersecurity portfolio, specialist resources, partner enablement programs and support capabilities to help partners respond to increasing customer demand for managed security outcomes.

“For Dicker Data, this is another way we are helping partners evolve beyond transactional technology sales and into scalable, high-value service models,” she added.
