Global technology and digital transformation firm BeyondKey has opened an office in Sydney, as the company sees Australia as a strategic growth market.

According to the company, Australia’s technology landscape and strong enterprise ecosystem make it an “ideal strategic hub”.

BeyondKey specialises in digital transformation, cloud modernisation, enterprise platforms, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and modern data warehousing.

Piyush Goel, CEO at BeyondKey told CRN Australia that establishing a local presence allows them to engage more closely with customers and partners as they navigate complex digital transformation programs.

“Our focus is on helping organisations turn technology investments into measurable business outcomes, backed by strong governance, speed of execution, and long‑term accountability,” he said.

Over the past few years, Goel said he has seen increasing engagement from Australian organisations looking for partners who can deliver locally, securely, and in alignment with Australian regulatory and data standards.

“Opening a Sydney office allows us to be closer to our customers, operate in Australian time zones, and build long‑term partnerships in the region rather than serving the market remotely,” he explained.

While BeyondKey didn’t specify the amount of people working in the region. Goel did note that it will continue to “expand the on-ground team in line with client demand”.

Abilash Balan, marketing and communications head at BeyondKey leads the company’s channel arm.

Looking at the opportunities in the market, Goel said the country is at a “critical point” in its digital maturity journey.

“Organisations are moving beyond basic cloud adoption and are now focused on data‑driven decision‑making, AI enablement, security, and governance,” he said.

“There is also growing demand for partners who understand both technology and outcomes, particularly in regulated and impact‑driven sectors.”

For the next 12 months, the ITSP’s focus will be around building deeper relationships with customers and partners; expanding our data, AI, and Microsoft cloud services; investing in local talent and ecosystem partnerships; and strengthening their presence in industries where compliance, security, and data maturity are critical.

“We are focused on steady, long‑term growth, rather than rapid expansion for its own sake,” Goel added.

BeyondKey will be homing in on the education, professional services, health, NFP, and FSI sectors.

Goel said, “These sectors are increasingly looking for partners who can combine technology expertise with governance, security, and real‑world impact.”

The BeyondKey CEO said Australia represents an important chapter in Beyond Key’s global journey.

“Our intent is not just to operate in the market, but to contribute meaningfully to the local technology ecosystem, bringing together global experience and local understanding to help Australian organisations innovate with confidence,” Goel explained.

Founded in 2005, Beyond Key has steadily expanded its international operations across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, and India.
