Engage Squared secures funding to fuel AI growth across APAC
The Microsoft partner has receieved a backing from Aussie investment manager Alceon.
Microsoft partner Engaged Squared has secured new funding from Alceon to help the company build its AI business across APAC.
According to the company, the investment will fund deeper capability in AI, data and agents, growth of Engage Squared's teams across APAC, and selective acquisitions that add capability and reach.
No word on how much investment was made into Engage Squared or if the company will hire additional staff from the funding.
Alastair Cashen, CEO at Engage Squared Group told CRN Australia that the company is already in a “strong position”.
“Our partnership with Alceon is about accelerating that momentum,” he said.
“The investment provides us with capital and operational support to deepen our AI and agent capabilities, broaden our service offering, and pursue selective acquisitions.”
Engage Squared currently works alongside enterprise and government customers across Australia, New Zealand, and the wider Asia Pacific region, helping them move beyond AI experimentation to genuine enterprise-scale impact, according to Cashen.
“This backing means we can do even more of that with a greater depth of capability behind every engagement. It also means we can invest further in our people and capabilities as we grow,” he said.
“Alceon's track record with high-growth businesses, combined with our deep Microsoft expertise, is exactly the right partnership to continue building the business across the Asia Pacific region.”
Engage Squared is the first investment made by Alceon's recently launched Private Equity Access Fund, which targets founder-led Australian and New Zealand businesses.
The Microsoft partner specialises in AI solutions, employee experience, security and data. The firm employs more than 170 people across Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
