ASI and ASUS to deliver more than 8,000 Chromebooks to ACT schools
ASI Solutions will deploy ASUS 12.2” Flip/Touch Chromebooks across several ACT educational institutions.
ASI Solutions has won a tender with the ACT Education Directorate in collaboration with ASUS to deliver 8,500 Chromebook to schools within the territory.
The managed services company will deploy ASUS 12.2” Flip/Touch Chromebooks this year across several schools in the ACT.
Speaking to CRN Australia, Justin Lowe, director, ASI Solutions, he said this agreement reinforces ASI Solutions’ “long-term commitment” to supporting public education systems with reliable, scalable, and secure digital learning environments.
“For ACT schools, the focus is on providing consistent access to high-quality devices that can be deployed at scale, supported locally, and managed securely within the education environment,” he said.
According to Lowe, the Chromebooks will support everyday teaching and learning across classrooms, enabling students to collaborate, create, and engage with digital content.
“They are designed to be easy to manage and deploy across large school environments, making them well suited to a system the size of the ACT,” he said.
“The devices also support secure access to cloud-based learning tools and school systems, helping schools deliver flexible learning experiences both in and out of the classroom.”
Lowe explained why ASI chose ASUS, “Through ASI’s work with education systems nationally, ASUS stood out as a partner that consistently delivers fleet-ready devices, strong performance, and best-in-class warranty support, which are all critical for large-scale school deployments.”
Alongside the devices, Lowe said ASI supports schools through practical enablement.
“This includes ASI’s digital skills practice, designed to lift classroom and workplace capability, and Anabelle, ASI’s secure AI platform built within a school’s own IT environment,” he said.
“Anabelle helps teachers automate lesson planning, assessments, reporting, and administrative tasks, while supporting students through a teacher-managed, always-available learning assistant, with data privacy and security maintained throughout.
“This shared focus on outcomes, reliability, and long-term value is what brought the partnership together.”
The managed services company will continue its partnership with ASUS, through several other agreements.
According to Lowe ASI sees “strong momentum nationally”.
“This includes ongoing supply to the ACT Education Directorate and Catholic Education Offices across the Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn, the Diocese of Parramatta, and the Diocese of Tasmania, as well as other systems and schools across Australia,” he said.
“In 2025, ASUS devices were deployed to over 100 independent and Catholic school nationwide, reflecting continued trust in ASI’s solutions and ability to support digital learning at scale.”
