Acronis attracts over 100 resellers in 30 days

Resellers will purchase through Acronis Authorised Distributors, Datastor, Manaccom and SAN Systems.

Acronis announced its A/NZ Channel Program and Partner Portal recently.

The program has three levels of memberships, including Enterprise Solutions Partner, Certified Partner and Authorised Partner.

Acronis has two ESPs, Data#3 and Insight, and over 100 resellers signed up on the Partner Portal.

The portal is updated on a regular basis with latest product news, promotions, marketing collateral and tech support to Acronis resellers.

"The requests from channel partners have been overwhelming," said Bill Taylor-Mountford (pictured), general manager of Acronis A/NZ.  

"We received over 30 registrations in the first 24 hours. We're glad to see that resellers recognise the value and benefits of selling the Acronis products, and are really pleased with the result so far.

"The portal is a great tool to help our resellers develop the market and grow their businesses."

Acronis will quote in Australian dollars in the local market to protect channel partners from the volatility associated with exchange rate variations, effective from 3rd March.

"This is another initiative Acronis is taking this year to bring real value to our partners," added Taylor-Mountford.

"We've seen many resellers forced to put the prices up or suffering from revenue loss due to the decline of the local currency since Sep last year.

"What we'd like to achieve is a healthy relationship with resellers and grow the business together.

"We believe that quoting Acronis products in Australian dollars, offering access to an AUD price portal and providing real marketing support will put our resellers in a much better position in front of customers, and give them predictable margins and profitability," he added.
