Adobe partner Accordant builds student platform for University of Canberra with Adobe's Experience Cloud

Sydney-based Accordant has scored a deal with the University of Canberra (UC) to help develop the university’s Digital Student Journey platform.

The company will be partnering with parent company Isobar Group as their first joint project after it was acquired by Isobar in March. Accordant was also renamed as Accordant, Linked by Isobar as part of the deal.

The project will also be the two Adobe partners’ largest joint venture to date on the Adobe Experience Cloud. It will also incorporate the use of Adobe’s Audience Manager, Analytics and Target functions.

“The digital transformation will place future and current students at the very heart of the journey to drive more engaging, rewarding and satisfying experiences for them,” UC director of Student Connect Scott Nichols said.

“This is an industry-leading project and we are pleased to partner with Isobar, and its network via Accordant, Linked by Isobar and Adobe, to deliver this initiative.”

The platform aims to enhance the online student experience through digital engagement, conversion and retention strategies, while supporting students as they go.

It will also be personalised and optimised to each student’s digital touch points, aiming to provide a contextual, intuitive and student-centric experience.

“Our role is to ensure intelligent, personal and relevant conversations are at the fingertips of each University of Canberra stakeholder,” Isobar chief executive Konrad Spilva said.

He adds that the companies’ combined digital specialisations and the technology provided by Adobe would help provide the UC an end-to-end service to “bring the project to life” and deliver an intuitive and engaging experience to students.

“There is a rising expectation for personalisation, authentic connections and great experiences in higher education,” Tony Katsabaris, Adobe managing director for government and education for APAC, said.

“In partnership with Isobar, the University of Canberra will facilitate a more engaged and connected student community using Adobe Experience Cloud as the framework for a more streamlined relationship with students.

“We look forward to working on this project to drive value through digital experience throughout the student journey.”
