Apple Store Perth to open on Saturday

Apple has confirmed that it will open the doors to its first Perth retail store this Saturday.

The Perth shop is located in Hay St and becomes the eighth Apple shop in the country following the opening of its seventh shop in Sydney's Bondi Junction last month.

Last December CRN reported that Apple was constructing a shop on Hay St in place of a former pastry shop, but Apple failed to confirm.

Apple said that the shop will stock Apple's entire product line and a range of free services including face-to-face support and advice at the Genius Bar, hands-on workshops and special programs for kids.

Customers who buy a Mac at the Apple Retail Store or Apple's Online Store can also join the popular One to One program for $129 .

Owners of a new Mac get Personal Setup to customise their computer and transfer files from their old Mac or PC, plus a year of Personal Training sessions and Personal Project support.

The Apple Store Perth will open at 9am on Saturday.
