Lenovo has named its top performing partners for Australia and New Zealand during its Business Partner Gala Awards ceremony in Sydney last night.
The awards recognised achievements and contributions from the vendor's partner community over the past year, including awards for individual contributions, innovation and year-on-year growth.
Dicker Data picked up Australian distributor of the year for its marketing campaigns and double-digit growth within Lenovo's PC group.
The distie's general manager for hardware Tony Trinh also won the Lenovo Legend award in recognition of his work in the "initiation, implementation and execution" of the vendor's "hyper growth plans for the last six years."
Enterprise partner of the year for Australia went to Learning With Technologies for being Lenovo's largest enterprise business partner, while SMB partner of the year was won by Stott & Hoare for its SMB and midmarket growth and for achieving 62 percent growth year-on-year.
The two ANZ awards went to ASI Solutions for growth partner of the year in recognition of its continuous collaboration and 82 percent year-on-year growth; and to Blue Connection for innovative partner of the year for delivering "different, fun and innovative" initiatives.
Commenting on the awards, Lenovo's ANZ managing director Matt Codrington said: “Lenovo puts channel partners at the heart of its business. We are 100 percent committed to listening, taking action and improving to build a true win-win partnership. We wanted to celebrate all of the amazing achievements from all of our partners, who delivered some truly innovative and impressive results.”
Lenovo also gave out awards to its top New Zealand partners during the gala event. New Zealand distie of the year was won by Synnex for its "virtual warehouse" capabilities, enterprise partner of the year went to Datacom and SMB partner of the year was scooped by Spark Digital.
