ASI Solutions wins Queenwood wireless deal

ASI Solutions has won an order from the Queenwood School for Girls in Sydney for the deployment of wireless network kit at the school's senior campus.

The kit, comprising 18 x 802.11 a/b/g/n access points, a controller and ceiling mount antennas, is manufactured by Meru Networks, which is distributed in Australia by Wavelink Communications.

It will be installed at the school this term.

Jonathan Ordman, director of Wavelink Communications, said the deal "provided students with the very best in wireless access to enhance their learning experience"

Queenswood classrooms were typically equipped with computers, data projectors, DVD and video players and touch sensitive interactive Smartboards.

Wavelink distributes a range of products from Polycom, Digium and Meru Networks.
