Sydney-based Azzurri Communications has rebranded after nine years trading under that former name in Australia.
This week Azzurri Communications in Australia became Enablis, the first time the company has adopted a different name to its former UK parent since it was established here in 2006.
The name change follows consecutive years of 35 percent growth since the current owners bought the local shareholding in 2009, said Enablis managing director Jon Evans.
He said the name change was designed to reflect the company's broader scope, including a solution portfolio that has expanded well beyond data services to include SIP, video and unified communications.
"When you go back to where we were seven or eight years ago, the market has moved drastically. A lot of people were buying data with very little value on top of it," he said.
What was once a six-person office now has more than 35 people, with the company picking up major wins including magazine giant Bauer Media.
Another high profile customer is the St Vincent de Paul Society NSW, which picked the Sydney firm to overhaul its network.
Evans said he expects the firm's growth to continue. "Since we bought the shareholding we've gone through 35 percent growth consecutively every year. We'll do it again this year," Evans said.
