CA Technologies brings in new ANZ security head

CA Technologies has appointed Ian Yip to as senior solution strategist accountable for the company’s security business across the ANZ.

Yip will responsible for the division's growth, advising organisations on industry trends and working closely with stakeholders to ensure their security strategies are aligned with business objectives.

He has worked with organisations worldwide to strategise, architect and implement IT security solutions, particularly in the areas of identity and access management, data security, IT governance, risk and compliance, and mobile and cloud security.

Yip was NetIQ's APJ product and business manager, responsible for business development, product management and marketing in Asia-Pac.

He previously held a variety of leadership, sales, marketing and consulting roles in both Europe and Australia in IT companies including IBM. 

Vic Mankotia, vice president of solution sales, CA Technologies Asia-Pac and Japan, said: "Ian’s experience positions him well to further cultivate and grow these relationships."
