Cloud IaaS vendor iland expands channel program

Infrastructure-as-a-service and disaster recovery-as-a-service vendor iland has expanded its global channel sales program following partner and customer growth over the past year.

The company announced a new partner portal for training, certification and sales management, as well as “several” new updates to its Catalyst cloud assessment tool.

The new portal aims to help partners identify leads and close sales, with a tweaked process to register new deals. Partners can also choose one of three options — they can either refer a customer to iland and collect recurring commissions; resell iland services; or include iland’s platform as a part of a larger service offering.

The changes come after iland saw its annual channel revenue double over the past year thanks to “substantial partner growth and customer demand” for its secure cloud backup, infrastructure and disaster recovery solutions.

The company said it has also started to reach a broader customer base outside of its usual SMB base through its network of resellers and managed service providers.

“The iland global partner program serves customers across six continents who are moving to the cloud for the first time or expanding their infrastructure across a complex hybrid cloud environment,” iland vice president of global channels Koorosh Khashayar.
