Commvault has unveiled a new global partner program promising a more streamlined “partner experience” and increased financial incentives.
Partners will get more rebates at higher percentages, a “more lucrative and flexible” year-end bonus program, additional business development fund investments and improved deal registration benefits.
Resellers with the MarketBuilder designation can earn an average 2.5 times payout increase on a year-over-year basis, while distributors that win and retain customers can earn an average 1.65 times payout increase.
“We want partner profitability and predictability and be able to drive new business in a shorter time to market, helping partners realise and create more than one revenue stream,” Commvault APJ vice president Mark Fong told CRN.
Commvault is also making training, sales enablement, marketing materials, and real time support easier to access through its partner portal.
“We’re trying to amalgamate our partner resources, like the CRM, the training portal and registration site into a one-stop shop,” Fong said.
In a press release distributed today, Commvault chief revenue officer Riccardo Di Blasio said the program is the vendor’s “simplest, most transparent and financially rewarding” one in its history.
“We’ve listened to our partners and customers and built a stronger foundation for the mutual success of Commvault and its worldwide partner network based directly on their feedback,” Di Blasio said.
“The key objective for us is to make it easier and more beneficial for partners to do business with Commvault.”
