Datacom wins big at Intel Security awards
Jonathan Ladd, Datacom

Trans-Tasman IT solution provider Datacom was named Intel Security's managed services provider partner of the year for Australia and New Zealand and also overall number one MSP for Asia Pacific during the giant's annual partner summit held in Bangkok.

Datacom Group chief executive Jonathan Ladd said: "It is great to see our security teams across ANZ being rewarded for their innovative work in a rapidly changing market."

Joel Camissar, Intel Security's director service provider, MSP and cloud APAC, said: "This award comes on the back of a strategic long-term investment by Datacom dating back several years to build a range of services on the Intel Security platform."

Datacom's security operations centre capabilities run across two locations in New Zealand, which offer services such as security analytics and thread visibility across telecommunications-as-a-service for a number of Datacom’s public and private sector clients.

This year Datacom was awarded Cisco's managed services partner of the year ANZ, Hitachi Data Systems partner of the year ANZ and Veeam’s partner of the year ANZ.
