Datacom wins govt Dynamics support contract

Datacom has scored a Microsoft Dynamics support contract with the federal Department of the Environment and Energy.

CRN understands the contract covers CRM support services, including level one application support, level two development support and systems administration support.

The contract is worth $2 million and runs from August 2019 to August 2021. .

Datacom was selected from the Department of Human Services’ ICT services panel (which covers  dozens of other agencies) after evaluating its suitability, timeliness and value for money.

The services augmented the department’s own internal corporate systems support team, as part of its Technology and Information Strategy.

The strategy is part of the department's Corporate Plan 2018-19 to bolster its technology and digital capabilities, which includes adopting cloud technology.
