Distribution Central is Sumo Logic’s first Australian distie

Sumo Logic has appointed Distribution Central as its first Australian distie for its data analytics solution in the ANZ region.

The partnership will see Distribution Central recruiting channel partners familiar with hybrid and cloud-distributed models to market Sumo Logic’s products.

Distribution Central’s chief executive, Nick Verykios, said: “Data analytics is increasingly vital for businesses as they move away from just storing data, and focus on refining and drawing insights and business outcomes from it. With Sumo Logic we can offer our partners a leading data analytics solution to address their customer’s business requirements.”

This partnership is part of a larger strategy focused on developing a strong Sumo Logic channel community within the region which includes access to partner pricing and training programs.

Sumo Logic VP of worldwide Matt Handler said: “Distribution Central's strong partner base as well as their breadth and depth of technical expertise particularly within data analytics and security is ideally suited for the Sumo Logic platform.

“As Sumo Logic continues to invest and expand in the Asia Pacific region, Distribution Central's extensive partner network provides the ideal way for us to scale and reach new customers within the region and we are thrilled to be partnering with them," added Handler.

Sumo Logic is a global ecosystem IT platform made of up alliance, solution and technology partners making it easily accessible to customers. Alliance partners include Amazon Web Services, Chef, Microsoft, Docker and Hitachi Data Systems, while local channel partners include Kiandra IT, OCG, Cloudten and Red Bear IT.
