ERP vendor Unit4 has named Lee Gale as its new managing director for Australia and New Zealand, replacing Chris Tithof.

Gale joins the Netherlands-headquartered vendor from OpenText, where he last held the role of APJ regional vice president of channels and alliances.

“With solid knowledge in the art and science of B2B sales of digital solutions and recognition of a great team, we believe Lee is the right person to take our business forward and to drive success in the Australia and New Zealand market,” Unit4 Asia Pacific regional president and SVP Yujin Evered said.

Gale will be responsible for driving business growth in Australia and New Zealand.

The vendor is also expanding its operations in the region, with a focus on professional services, higher education, public services, and non-profit industries.

“I’m thrilled to join Unit4’s team in ANZ and help drive numerous opportunities we have in this market”, Gale said.

“Unit4 has established a great presence in ANZ and we definitely see a fruitful future for the business in this region building on the strong customer and partner base already in place."
