Fusion5 acquires another Microsoft Dynamics specialist

Fusion5 has acquired fellow Microsoft Dynamics 365 specialist Dynamics Group, bringing over new staff and adding more clients to its growing customer base.

Dynamics Group was founded in Brisbane in 2017, specialising in Dynamics 365-based CRM products. The company has four core staff members and 10 customers.

As part of the acquisition, Dynamics Group founder Ross Guthrie will join Fusion5 as its CRM business development manager. The rest of the team will join Fusion5's Brisbane office.

“We’re delighted to offer our customers even more Dynamics 365 business growth strategies and resources while retaining the strong and valued relationships we’ve developed with each of them,” Guthrie said.

“Fusion5 is a genuinely safe pair of hands for any organisation or business looking to maximise or consolidate their investment in the Microsoft product stack, and we’re excited to become part of their success story.”

Fusion5's own Dynamics practice is only three years old, but the company has already made strides with the product suite since merging with Melbourne-based Dynamics specialist Myriad IT in 2017. The merged company now boasts more than 800 customers across its offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and New Zealand.

Fusion5 was selected to join Microsoft's Inner Circle for Dynamics in 2017 and 2018, and was named Asia-Pacific Dynamics services partner of the year at Microsoft Inspire in 2017.

Fusion5 executive director Sven Martin said the acquisition was an example of the company's commitment to Dynamics 365 CRM and finance & operations at a regional level.

“We’re determined to have experienced resources on the ground for Dynamics 365 and Modern Workplace. It’s critical we provide a consistent level of capability, service and support wherever our customers are, and from wherever we’re based.”
