Google partner liquidated after Avnet debt

Google partner BluePoint has gone into liquidation owing $650,000 to unsecured creditors including Google, Avnet, Dialog Information Technology and the Australian Taxation Office.

Avnet filed a winding-up order against Melbourne-based BluePoint over a $28,000 debt on 10 February; Pitcher Partners was appointed as liquidator on 31 March.

According to the report as to affairs submitted to corporate regulator ASIC, BluePoint also owes roughly $200,000 to Google, $32,000 to Brisbane-headquartered solution provider Dialog IT and $391,000 to the Australian Taxation Office.

Founded in 1999, BluePoint was a Google premier enterprise partner with its head office in Melbourne and offices in Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and Perth.

It built search solutions across the Google portfolio, including Google For Work and the Google Search Appliance, as well as Drupal development, records management and enterprise content management.
