Ingram Micro adds Northbridge Secure's NetConnect remote access products

Ingram Micro has reached an agreement to distribute NetConnect remote access products from Sydney-based software vendor Northbridge Secure.

“The addition of NetConnect to our cloud portfolio ensures our channel partners now have access to a locally developed, best-in-class remote access solution,” Ingram Micro director of cloud services for ANZ Lee Welch said.

“NetConnect is Australian-developed and is a great fit for our resellers’ clients, helping them to securely maximise the business efficiencies of their cloud solutions.”

NetConnect allows users to easily and securely access their Microsoft Windows environment (virtual or physical), their published applications and their business files, with no data stored on the end-user device.

Companies can also turn their existing file servers into cloud-like storage, with complete control over who accesses and processes their data. NetConnect integrates into any live environment and turns any enterprise network in a secure mobile environment.

“By adopting a distribution model with Ingram Micro we believe that we will be able to better collaborate with the channel community. Our flagship product NetConnect offers solutions to real business requirements in our always mobile world,” Northbridge Secure Systems chief executive Michael Harte said.

“We’re passionate about our products and services and we’re looking forward to a bright future with Ingram Micro.”

The NetConnect products are now available on the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace and via traditional Ingram Micro distribution.

“We are extremely excited about our strategic partnership with Ingram Micro. Collaboration such as this is an important part in bringing our products to life and offering essential, meaningful solutions to our Australian and global business partners,” Northbridge Secure Systems general manager Xavier Simon said.

“By working together with Ingram Micro we aim to service a vast number of channel partners and end-users for years to come.”
