Ingram Micro signs security vendor Proofpoint

Ingram Micro extends has extended its partnership with enterprise security vendor Proofpoint partnership to Australia and New Zealand.

The distributor already handles Proofpoint in the USA.

The deal means that Ingram Micro’s Australian and New Zealand channel partners can plug into Proofpoint’s enhanced partner program. That program includes the Proofpoint Channel Partner portal, which offers access to a recently-updated deal registration tool, collaborative joint marketing assets, an updated deal registration program, and “a variety of other sales and technical tools.”

“Proofpoint solutions leverage the world’s most advanced threat intelligence platform to help organisations effectively prevent, defend, and respond to today’s biggest security threats and compliance risks,” said Lee Welch, Ingram Micro’s ANZ director of cloud services, “Its solutions are designed to protect people and organisations from the threats that target them, the data they work with, their digital activity, and the digital channels they rely on, including email, cloud applications, and social channels.”

Tim Bentley, Proofpoint’s veep for Asia Pacific and Japan, declared himself “… pleased to extend our partnership with Ingram Micro as Proofpoint has quickly become the standard for enterprise email security and security awareness training across both nations.”
