Ingram offers millions in ISV competition

Ingram Micro has created a $1.5 million -plus competition to help independent software vendors with business-to-business products find more customers.

Dubbed “COMET”, the competition will award four independent software vendors (ISVs).

COMET’s prizes include cash and go-to-market funds. Winners will also be able to leverage Ingram Micro’s cloud, including its promotional facilities.

“Our goal is to always be at the leading-edge of technology, and ISVs are the foundation of the digital economy,” says Lee Welch, director, Ingram Micro Cloud. “By partnering with, the most startup-friendly accelerator in the industry, we are able to offer ISVs worldwide the opportunity to compete to take their business mainstream as part of our ISV initiative and our industry-leading Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace’’.

The competition will evaluate ISVs’ vision, channel potential, and ecosystem readiness. Winners will be selected by a group of distinguished engineers, executives and industry influencers, and all entrants receive expert feedback. Applications are now open at https://www.ingrammicrocloud.com/lp/comet/.
