Kogan launches $329 Windows laptop

Kogan is selling a Win dows 8.1 laptop priced at $329 called the Kogan Atlas X1510.

The laptop is powered by a 2.16GHz Intel Pentium N3540 processor with 4GB DDR3 RAM, Intel HD graphics processor and a 500GB hard drive.

The Kogan Atlas X1510 has a 15.6 inch screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768 and has four USB 3.0 ports. Kogan claims a battery life over nine hours.

The device lands in budget territory where the likes of AcerDell and Asus have been pushing Chromebooks priced between $318 and $399.

Kogan also entered the budget smartphone market this year, releasing the Agora 4G for $229.

The Atlas X1510 will be available in December from Kogan's online store.
