Lenovo has hired IT industry veteran Michael Cefai as its new regional sales manager for enterprise sales for Australia.

Cefai comes over from managed virtual hosting provider ManageNET, where he was vice president of sales from June 2018 to January this year.

“We’re excited to have an exceptional and well respected technology leader join Lenovo, to help us continue to put channel partners at the heart of its business,” Lenovo ANZ managing director Matt Codrington said.

“We are 100 percent committed to listening, taking action and improving to build a true win-win partnership, and I'm looking forward to the role Michael will play in doing so."

Prior to joining ManageNET, Cefai held top sales roles for fleet management platform vendor Mobilise IT, Samsung Enterprise Solutions, software vendor Dataflex.

Cefai’s longest gig however was with Acer Australia, where he worked from 1990 to 2012 working up his way to general manager for corporate government and education sales.

"Michael brings a wealth of experience across business partnerships, education and enterprise solutions,” Codrington said.

“He’s built an extensive career in the technology sector at Samsung, Acer, ManageNET and Mobilise IT across a number of leadership roles.”
