Matt Bolton named ServiceNow’s new channel lead

ServiceNow has named Matt Bolton has its new ANZ Channel Chief.

Bolton yesterday took to LinkedIn to announce he’s been named senior director for the vendor’s alliance and channels ecosystem across Australia and New Zealand.

“After 6 years alongside … a wonderful group of team mates, customers and partners at Qlik, I have decided to embark on a new adventure at ServiceNow,” Bolton wrote.

“Thanks to David Oakley, David M. Parsons, Anthony C. and everyone at ServiceNow for providing me with the opportunity and making me feel so welcome. A vibrant, world-class Global Partner Ecosystem is critical to our aggressive growth targets, and I'm excited to be part of the team tasked with building it!”

ServiceNow’s previous channel chief Brent Paterson left in January 2019 and the company advertised the job in March 2019. Anthony Collins, Head of Global Elite Partners, Asia Pacific and Japan, filled in during that time.

Bolton spent more than a decade in very senior channel roles at SAP before joining Qlik in 2013. He arrives at a grand time for ServiceNow: CRN hears little but enthusiasm for the vendor in the channel, its resellers featured prominently in the 2018 CRN Fast50, the company can point to big wins like a recent score with NSW Police and has a new release of its product to take to market.
