Mia Distribution has added video communications vendor Telycam to its portfolio, bolstering the distie’s core unified communications and collaboration range with a set of web and conference video cameras.

The Chinese video camera manufacturer produces USB teleconferencing equipment across for several applications, supporting HD and 4K video and touting particular designs and lenses suited for differently sized conference rooms.

It is our great pleasure to set up this partnership between Telycam and Mia Distribution, we have been very impressed with the efficiency, professional support and quick response from the Mia team,” Lisa Huang, Telycam sales director, said.

Mia sales and product manager Matt Milne said the distributor was thrilled to be adding Telycam products to its offering.

“With a variety of cloud-based video conferencing platforms gaining significant momentum in the market, Telycam allows us to offer our resellers a professional, business-grade endpoint that meets the growing demand of both the SME channel as well as larger corporate enterprise customers,” he said.

“We are excited that Telycam enables Mia Distribution to make video conferencing accessible to the channel as a whole, with easy-to-deploy solutions that are both functional and affordable.”

Mia Distribution is known specifically for its end-to-end unified communications hardware solutions and will be looking to bundle products in its new Telycam lineup with other UC products from its wider portfolio.

We see Telycam complementing our video conferencing and collaboration space, where traditionally we have been focused on legacy solutions that deliver to a certain segment of our channel.  Telycam will allow us to offer our partners video conferencing endpoints, from huddle room environments right up to larger boardrooms,” Milne said.

“As part of our wider UC solutions offering we will be partnering with key cloud-based video conferencing vendors to deliver a quality business grade user experience.”
