Pioneer Computers and Konica Minolta go after government contracts
Jeff Li, managing director, Pioneer Computers Australia, said many of the customers that purchase personal computers, notebooks and servers are also looking for printers.

“The Konica Minolta printers fit into our product portfolio perfectly. The alliance also follows Pioneer’s approach to focus on the government markets,” said Li.

Pioneer Computers Australia has been awarded the Local Government Procurement (LGP) LGP306 contract, supplying computers and peripherals to all councils in New South Wales.

Besides the LGP contract, Pioneer Computers Australia is also ITS2007 NSW government contractor, Commonwealth Government endorsed supplier and Queensland Government approved supplier. The alliance with Konica Minolta will give the printer vendor access to these markets.

“Konica Minolta printers are renowned for reliability, performance and output; together with aggressive cost per copy subsequent Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) across the range,” said Li.

Besides Konica Minolta, Pioneer Computers Australia also carries other printer brands such as Brother and Ricoh.
