Synnex adds Alibaba Cloud to its own cloud marketplace hub

Synnex has reached a deal to add Alibaba Cloud’s products and solutions to its cloud marketplace hub.

The partnership covers Alibaba Cloud’s full portfolio of both public cloud and hybrid cloud products and solutions.

The vendor will also provide Synnex partners enablement activities on the products like webinars, workshops, certification and networking sessions.

“We are very excited to partner with Alibaba Cloud and bring their in-depth expertise to our clients,” Synnex ANZ chief executive Kee Ong said.

“Our partnership with Alibaba Cloud will streamline the process for our partners to effectively procure and configure solutions for clients.”

Synnex said it and Alibaba Cloud will soon run some programs for resellers to discuss the partnership and how it complements with Synnex’s existing vendors.

Alibaba Cloud ANZ general manager Raymond Ma said the partnership with Synnex gives partners the opportunity to experience Alibaba Cloud’s latest tech and access its global ecosystem.

“Given our expertise and success cases in the past, we believe working with Synnex will allow us to empower more organisations from sectors such as e-commerce, FinTech, and media and entertainment to speed up their overseas expansion and to enhance their digital transformation capabilities,” Ma said.
