TADASoft appoints WhiteGold as distributor

The deal means TADASoft adds the Restorepoint range of configuration backup & restore solutions to WhiteGold's portfolio.

Restorepoint is an integrated hardware and software solution for Network Administrators, which makes it easy to automatically backup and store the configuration of their network devices and to restore configurations when needed.

This is managed from one central location with an easy-to-use web interface.

Dominic Whitehand, managing director of WhiteGold Solutions said TADASoft will become a huge brand in Australia and the technology behind the Restorepoint platform allows it to offer additional value add for all its hardware offerings.

"Offerings will come in the form of a Managed Service providing multi-vendor network device config backup "In the Cloud" for our resellers to on-sell to their end users," said Whitehand.

"Indeed resellers, ISPs and MSSPs can purchase the Restorepoint platform for themselves and provide the service directly to their customers, and/or sell the platform as CPE (Customer Premise Equipment) to their corporate customers.

"Either way, this is a unique technology that provides config backup support for a huge range of devices from the likes of Cisco, Juniper, Extreme Networks, Riverbed, Brocade, F5, Blue Coat, Barracuda, WatchGuard, Fortinet, Check Point and many more.

"We will build unique services around that for our resellers - and give them the opportunity to do the same".

Rory Nolan, director TADASoft said the partnership brings its technology into the wider market and shows how far the TADASoft product is now being sold and supported from its original UK base.

"WhiteGold Solutions have the expertise and the reseller base to push the Restorepoint range better than anyone else in the Australian/New Zealand market and we look forward to putting a lot of time and resources into supporting their loyal channel."
