Telstra, Data#3, Dicker Data win global Cisco partner awards

Cisco has recognised four Australian partners for their work over the past year with global partner awards.

The networking vendor handed out 19 global partner awards overnight at the Cisco Partner Summit in Las Vegas, with Aussie partners taking five on the night.

Dicker Data was named global Distributor of the Year, while Data#3 took home Architectural Excellence Partner of the Year: Enterprise Networks.

Dimension Data, now known as NTT Australia, took home two awards: APJC Partner of the Year (through parent NTT Ltd Asia Pacific) and Software Partner of the Year.

Telstra also took home an Architectural Excellence Partner of the Year award, with a focus on security.

"They were selected for their innovation and the ways in which they are growing their businesses while remaining differentiated in the market," Cisco SVP of Global Partner Organisation Oliver Tuzsik said.

"We encourage [partners] to follow their lead in delivering innovative outcomes to customers while constantly evolving their business. Congratulations to this year’s global award winners."
