Partner Spotlight: Seccom Global

Company overview

Seccom Global is an Australian-owned cyber security, secure networking and cloud-capable technology services provider established in 2003.

Headquartered in Sydney, with offices interstate and offshore in India and Sri Lanka, the business supports organisations across government, critical infrastructure, financial services, health, education, transport, telecommunications and commercial sectors to name a few.

Our customers are diverse, ranging from organisations with lean internal technology teams to large enterprises and regulated entities that need trusted security, network, cloud and operational expertise without having to build every specialist capability in-house. We bring enterprise-grade services within reach for organisations of all sizes, including mid-market businesses, with solution and pricing options that are practical, scalable and tailored to their needs. This is reflected in the breadth of organisations we support.

The company differentiates itself through its combination of deep technical experience, 24×7 managed operations, practical governance and accessible senior expertise. Seccom Global is big enough to deliver nationally, with the specialist expertise and 24/7 coverage customers need, but still close enough to make working with us feel personal. We stay connected to our customers and focus on providing a tailored service that feels right for each organisation, no matter its size.

Our approach is customer-led rather than product-led: it starts with the environment, risk profile and business outcome, then designs the right operating model and technology solution from there.

Seccom Global’s cloud-related capability sits within a broader secure technology portfolio covering cloud security, identity, endpoint, networking, managed security, detection and response, backup and operational resilience.

Our professional services team delivers architecture, design, implementation, migration, integration, optimisation and transition across security, networks, cloud and identity. The business also supports cloud-native controls and platforms, including Microsoft-based environments, cloud security tooling, identity and privileged access controls, SIEM integration, endpoint protection, vulnerability management and backup services for Microsoft 365 and other critical workloads.

Seccom helps customers solve key business challenges such as securing hybrid and cloud environments, improving visibility across complex infrastructure, reducing operational risk, modernising networks, strengthening identity and access controls, meeting compliance obligations and improving resilience – particularly in the OT space. Its managed services are delivered through a 24×7 Security and Network Operations Centre, providing monitoring, triage, escalation, service reporting and continuous improvement across firewalls, SD-WAN, SASE, SIEM, MXDR, endpoint, identity, vulnerability management, backup and core network infrastructure.

Our key capabilities include managed security and networks, cyber consulting and assurance, professional services, operational technology security, cloud and identity security, detection and response, and resilience services. We have more than two decades of experience supporting complex and regulated environments, with ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 9001 certifications.

Seccom Global differentiates itself by combining specialist cloud, security and networking expertise with accessible senior people, 24×7 managed operations and a practical, customer-led delivery model. Rather than taking a product-first approach, the company designs solutions around each customer’s environment, risk profile and business objectives, helping organisations modernise cloud and hybrid platforms while maintaining security, resilience, compliance and operational control.

Customer Success Story

One example of how we combined cloud and traditional network services was the delivery of a secure SD-WAN solution for a national organisation operating across more than 300 sites. As the customer wanted to minimise on-site infrastructure, we designed a resilient network using cloud-based management and authentication, centrally controlled security policies and consolidated reporting.

The real challenge was consistency. Each location needed to connect reliably, apply the same security standards and provide the visibility that comes from a centralised support structure. Rather than managing hundreds of sites separately, configurations and policies were controlled through a central cloud platform. User and administrator access was authenticated against centralised identity controls, while network performance, security events, and service reporting were managed from a single cloud-delivered operational platform.

This gave the customer centralised control, clearer application visibility and a consistent way to manage changes, faults and security events across the entire environment. It also allowed us to easily deliver support, 24×7.

The result was more than 300 sites operating under one secure, cloud-managed model. It is a practical example of how cloud and secure networking can work together—the connectivity, identity, security policy, visibility, reporting and ongoing management all form part of the same service.

Future Vision

Our future is not about adopting every new technology as it appears – it’s about continuing to understand our customers deeply and tailor solutions to complex business challenges. It’s also about removing complexity for our Customers, and helping them achieve business outcomes and efficiency.

A key focus will be improving Customer experience and reducing complexity. Using automation, AI and our own development capability to solve the problems customers continue to face: too many disconnected tools, limited visibility, repetitive manual work and difficulty proving that security controls are working.

Automation will play a greater role across our services. Routine activities such as collecting information, enriching alerts, checking configurations, managing common requests and producing reports can increasingly be automated. This will allow our people to spend more time investigating complex issues, improving customer environments and making decisions that still require experience and judgement. The goal is not to remove people from the service, but to give them better information and enable them to respond faster and more consistently.

AI will extend this capability by helping us analyse large volumes of operational and security data, identify patterns and explain risk more clearly. It will also create new challenges for our customers as employees adopt AI tools and sensitive information moves into new platforms. We will help customers take advantage of AI while maintaining control through clear policies, approved platforms, data classification, strong identity controls, monitoring and practical governance.

Another key area we are focusing on is Data Analytics and Reporting, providing better insights to help Customers understand their Cyber Security posture, roadmap and risk.

Most importantly, we will continue to build our solutions around what customers genuinely need, rather than leading with the latest product or trend. By listening closely to the challenges our customers are trying to solve, we can design practical services that reduce complexity, strengthen resilience and evolve as their environments change. This customer-led approach has shaped Seccom Global for more than two decades, and it will remain central to how we invest, innovate and grow.
