Apple reseller Computers Now has expanded its NSW presence with a new education specialty store.
The Education Centre, located at Sydney’s The University of NSW (UNSW), will offer a range of education related software, Apple hardware and services.
The store takes over the site formerly owned by failed Apple reseller, Unimac.
As previously reported by CRN, Unimac closed its doors in January citing financial difficulty.
Unimac’s former director, Doug Ingram, joins Computers Now as the UNSW business development manager.
Computers Now’s national retail manager, Adam Blacklock, will oversee the new UNSW business.
Computers Now would work to make a strong distinction between university, and individual student and teacher requirement. Computer Now would also bring its experience, support, infrastructure and capabilities, leaving Ingram to focus on his staff and faculty relationships, according to a statement.
Computers Now claims to be Apple’s largest education reseller in Victoria and NSW with seven retail locations in Sydney and Melbourne.
