Lenovo ANZ has promoted its distribution lead Sunny Gandhi to a new role as head of channel and distribution for SMBs.
In his last role, Gandhi was responsible for transforming the vendor's distribution business and increasing partner reach. During his time in the role, Lenovo has beefed up its channel tools for partners with features like the Lenovo Partner Portal and Deal Registration Program.
He joined Lenovo in November 2017 after a five-year career with Ingram Micro, one of Lenovo's Australian distributors.
“Sunny has been an integral part of leading our channel initiatives for the past two years, and his hard work has led to immense success for both Lenovo and our channel partners," said Lenovo Australia managing director Matt Codrington.
"Sunny’s deep understanding of the channel has enabled him to provide extra support and tools to our partners to close more opportunities faster.”
Lenovo made another major hire earlier this year by recruiting IT industry veteran Michael Cefai as regional sales manager for enterprise sales.
