Cybersecurity platform Coro has appointed Jamie Barling as its new ANZ partner sales manager as the vendor continues on its growth strategy.

Barling has held several business development manager roles at Nextgen, Meier Business Systems, and HPE.

In this new role, Barling will be leading the company’s go-to-market strategy within the Australian and New Zealand region.

Barling told CRN Australia he is excited to join the venodr at the time of “strong momentum” for the company’s partner-led strategy in ANZ.

“Coro is genuinely disrupting the cybersecurity market by delivering powerful, modular protection through a single, easy-to-use platform — built specifically for MSPs and resellers,” he said.

“What really stood out to me is the commitment to a 100 percent channel-only model, which puts partners at the centre of growth.”

Barling highlighted the “huge opportunity” across ANZ to help partners scale recurring revenue while simplifying security for their customers.

“I’m excited to work closely with the channel to drive that impact,” he added.

Deme Georgiou, regional VP sales, APJ, Coro noted that Barling’s appointment marks a “significant step” in the company’s growth strategy.

“Barling and I have been discussing this opportunity for some time, and it became clear that now is the right moment — both for Coro’s growth in ANZ and for the strength of our channel-first strategy,” Georgiou said.

“Jamie brings a rare combination of deep channel expertise and the ability to build partner ecosystems that genuinely drive outcomes.”

Georgiou said as Coro doubles down on its 100 percent channel model in ANZ, having someone of Barling’s calibre leading their go-to-market execution gives them the confidence to scale with purpose.

“I’m incredibly excited about what we can achieve together — not just in terms of growth, but in creating real value for our partners and their customers,” Georgiou ended.

Coro entered the Australian market only last July and has been on a growth trajectory. The vendor recently hired a new CFO.
