Deme Georgiou promoted to VP Global MSP at Coro

Previously was the VP of sales, Georgiou will still be based in Australia.

Deme Georgiou has been promoted to VP global MSP at cybersecurity company Coro.

In this role, Georgiou will be leading Coro's global MSP business — partner programs, enablement, and how we go to market with MSPs across every region.

He told CRN Australia, “A big part of it is working with our alliances and distribution partners to make sure MSPs can adopt, deploy and profit from Coro quickly. Practically, that means less friction, better margin, and a platform their technicians actually want to use.”

In his new role, Georgiou said he wants to make “Coro the easiest security decision an MSP makes”.

“That's a consolidation story — replacing a stack of six or seven point products with one platform their team can run without a dedicated SOC,” he said.

“If we do that well, we take real cost and complexity out of MSP operations and materially lift the security posture of the SMBs they serve.

Fellow Aussie, Benjamin Morrell recently stepped into the Global VP of product and strategy role at Coro.

For Georgiou, he believes the MSP channel is where the most interesting problem in cybersecurity sits.

“SMBs are facing the same threat actors as enterprises, but without the budget, the tooling or the people to deal with it — and MSPs are the ones carrying that load,” he explained.

“Getting to work with our global MSP community on solving that at scale is a rare opportunity. It's also a great signal for the region that Coro is running this function, and Product and Strategy under Ben Morrell, out of ANZ.”

Speaking to his partners, Morrell said, “Our door is open, and we want to hear from you”.

“The best product and program decisions we've made have come directly from partner feedback, so a key focus for me is formalising that through our partner councils — giving MSPs a structured, direct line into roadmap, pricing and program design rather than a suggestion box,” he said.

“Come with the hard feedback. That's the input we act on.”
