SAP partner DyFlex has appointed Evan Mantis as its new CEO.

This appointment comes as the company continues on a growth trajectory following an acquisiton and expansion over New Zealand.

In August last year, DyFlex acquired another SAP partner BlueTree to accelerate AI adoption amongst its customers.

DyFlex former CEO and founder, Peter Lander will step into the group executive director role.

Mantis brings more than 20 years of senior leadership experience across enterprise technology and the SAP ecosystem. He spent 18 years at SAP in Australia and the UK, holding senior executive roles at SAP ANZ.

Commenting on Mantis’ appointment, Lander said, “Mantis brings deep SAP experience, strong leadership capability and a clear understanding of where the market is heading.

“Just as importantly, he understands DyFlex - he’s worked with us for many years - so there was already strong alignment.”

Speaking to CRN Australia, Mantis said he has known DyFlex for a long time through his years at SAP.

“I’ve always admired the way the business combines depth of capability with a genuine focus on customer outcomes,” he said.

“What excites me most is the opportunity to lead a partner that delivers true end-to-end SAP capability while continuing to stay at the forefront of SAP innovation as the platform evolves.”

His focus will be on building on DyFlex’s strong foundations and scaling the business in a “disciplined” way.

“That means continuing to invest in capability, expanding into new industries and regions, and pursuing acquisitions that genuinely strengthen our end-to-end SAP offering - while protecting the culture and customer trust that already exist,” he added.

Mantis noted that there’s a “real opportunity” for partners like DyFlex that can support organisations across the full lifecycle, from strategy through to implementation and ongoing optimisation.

He said spending 18 years at SAP gave him a deep understanding of the technology, the roadmap and the expectations customers have of partners.

“I’ve also seen what differentiates the best partners in the ecosystem,” he said.

“More recently, leading a professional services organisation reinforced the importance of execution and scale, which is critical as DyFlex continues to grow.”
