Ingram Micro Experience 2026: 3 things you cannot miss
Held on August 5 at the ICC in Sydney, this year’s theme is “customer ready”.
Ingram Micro Australia will be hosting its annual Ingram Micro Experience 2026 at the ICC on August 5 in Sydney.
This one-day event gives attendees the opportunity to build an AI agent, listen to keynote presentations and panels, and network with colleagues.
This year, Nvidia will be powering the Immersive AI Hub where partners can design, build and deploy AI agents through interactive Nvidia Claw Builder stations and guided workshops.
Speaking to Hope McGarry, VP and chief country executive at Ingram Micro Australia she highlighted the three things that attendees must do when they’re at Ingram Micro Experience 2026.
First, she explained that everyone should get hands on at the Immersive AI Hub.
“AI has moved beyond experimentation and into real-world deployment,” she said.
“The Hub has been designed to give attendees practical experience and direct access to the expertise and infrastructure needed to build customer-ready AI solutions. While you're there, make time to meet Alan, our AI-powered humanoid robot.
“Named after computing pioneer Alan Turing, Alan is part concierge, part conversation starter, helping bring the possibilities of AI to life in a practical and engaging way.”
Secondly, McGarry encourages attendees to explore outside their core technology domain such as cloud and infrastructure; cybersecurity and resilience; modern workplace and endpoint; or data, storage and networking.
"Some of the biggest opportunities today sit at the intersection of technologies. We encourage attendees to spend time across all four technology domains and discover new ways to create integrated customer solutions,” she said.
Lastly, invest in conversations.
“Our industry thrives on relationships and that’s at the core of our programs including Experience,” McGarry said.
“Whether it's with vendors, partners, customers or Ingram Micro specialists, the relationships and discussions that happen during the event often lead to new opportunities, partnerships and ideas that live on long after the event finishes.”
McGarry noted that she wants attendees to leave with practical ideas they can apply immediately, stronger connections across the technology ecosystem and a clearer view of where growth opportunities are emerging.
“The technology market is becoming increasingly interconnected,” she said.
“Customers are no longer treating AI, cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure and workplace technology as separate conversations. They are looking for integrated solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.”
McGarry added, “Ingram Micro Experience is designed to help partners understand how these technologies come together and how they can turn that convergence into commercial opportunities.
“Most importantly, we want attendees to leave feeling more confident about how they can help customers navigate complexity, deliver better outcomes and grow their businesses.”
“Customer ready”
This year’s Ingram Micro Experience theme is “customer ready”, which McGarry said reflects the realities of the current market.
“Customers are facing increasing complexity as they modernise environments, adopt AI, strengthen cybersecurity and manage costs simultaneously,” she said.
“Being Customer Ready means understanding those challenges and aligning technology, services and expertise around customer outcomes rather than individual products or technology silos.”
“For Ingram Micro, Customer Ready starts with listening to partners and their customers, understanding where their priorities are shifting and investing in the capabilities and enablement programs that help them succeed.”
