A new month brings new movements within the Aussie IT channel.
From Interactive to nexwave there has been several new appointments in June. There is also a new ANZ CEO for Microsoft solution provider, Avanade and Atturra locks in a new chief financial officer. Plus, a well-known exec leaves Pax8.
Here are all the June Aussie IT channel movements that you need to know about.
Interactive hires head of data and AI, and principal AI architect
These two hires are a part of the company’s AI journey.
Jones played a central role in developing Interactive’s Data & AI capability through its Customer Zero approach.
In her new role, Jones will lead the continued evolution of the practice – taking these proven capabilities to market, scaling their impact, and supporting customers to realise the same value demonstrated within Interactive’s own operations.
Hoy will play a key role in building the technical foundations of Interactive’s AI capability. He will be responsible for shaping the architecture, platforms and systems required to deploy AI securely and at scale.
Chris Sharp leaves Pax8
Chris Sharp has left Pax8 after five years at the organisation.
Last year, Sharp stepped into the new global role of SVP of business development.Prior to that, he was the CEO APAC for the marketplace platform.
He is also an executive council member at the ANZ arm of the GTIA.

Avanade hires new ANZ CEO
Doug Robinson has been appointed as the new ANZ CEO for Microsoft solution provider Avanade.
In this role, he will be responsible for driving growth across Avanade's Australian and New Zealand business and advancing the company's position as the leading Microsoft solutions provider in the market.
Prior to joining Avanade, Doug spent over two decades at IBM, where he held senior leadership roles across Australia, New Zealand, ASEAN and Korea, most recently as Managing Partner leading large, multi‑thousand‑person teams and significant business turnarounds.
Nexwave appoints new director of delivery and operations
Microsoft consulting partner nexwave has hired Praveen Bankal as its new director of delivery and operations.
At nexwave, Praveen will lead the delivery and operations function, overseeing project governance, portfolio assurance and the delivery frameworks that underpin every client engagement.
Commenting on his role in a statement, Praveen said, “What attracted me is the ambition to build a Microsoft practice that scales without losing the rigour, accountability and client intimacy that defines high-trust consulting.
“My focus is on the systems, governance and people practices that turn that ambition into predictable, high-quality outcomes for every client."
Atturra brings on a new CFO
Atturra has hired Kunal Shah as its new chief financial officer.
The appointment follows Atturra’s announcement on 9 March 2026 that CFO Herb To had has announced his retirement.
To will continue to support an orderly transition and will remain with the Company until 1 September 2026.
He served as CFO prior to Atturra’s listing in 2021, at which time he took on the role of company secretary and assumed executive responsibility for Atturra’s strategic acquisition program as head of mergers and acquisitions.
CEO Stephen Kowal said, “Shah is a highly respected member of our leadership team and brings a unique combination of deep financial capability, commercial acumen and detailed knowledge of our business.
“Having been part of the group since inception and having led our acquisition program over the past several years, he is exceptionally well placed to support Atturra’s next phase of growth.”
Kablamo makes two Google Cloud hires
Australian technology consultancy, Kablamo, has appointed Troy Bebee as its first head of Google Cloud and Brooke Cushing as GCP partner manager.
In the newly created role of Head of Google Cloud, Bebee will lead Kablamo’s Google Cloud practice, architect at-scale GCP solutions and deepen the company’s partnership with Google Cloud.
Cushing joins Kablamo as GCP Partner Manager, bringing more than a decade of partnership, programs and customer experience across the technology and digital agency sectors.
She has previously held senior roles at Rackspace, Campaign Monitor and Salesforce, where she worked across partner ecosystems, APAC customer success, strategic pipeline development and cross-functional sales programs.
Allan Waddell, co-CEO at Kablamo said in a statement, “We created the Head of Google Cloud role because the market is asking for more than cloud migration.
“Organisations need partners who can connect engineering decisions to commercial outcomes and help them build platforms that are ready for what AI is becoming.”
Fastly hires new ANZ channel manager
Fastly has appointed Peter Scott as its new ANZ channel manager.
In his new role, he will be responsible for driving all aspects of Fastly’s channel partner developments in the region, including the recruitment of partners around a broadening product and services portfolio targeting a range of markets including media, e-commerce, logistics, retail and communications.
Scott has more than 15 years’ experience in the IT industry and originally joined Fastly four years ago as Asia Pacific Senior Account Manager before being promoted to the organisation’s first Key Account Manager.
He will be based in Melbourne.
LogicMonitor appoints Dave Patnaik as APAC VP
LogicMonitor has appointed Dave Patnaik as its APAC VP to drive GTM execution.
Based in Singapore, he will be a part of the company’s global go-to-market leadership team, led by John Grosshans, president of field operations.
He will expand regional coverage, build strategic ecosystem partnerships, and accelerate joint growth opportunities across the region.
Most recently at Red Hat, he led a $1B APJ ecosystem business, driving sustained growth and large-scale new logo acquisition across the region. He previously held APAC and International leadership roles at Forescout, SolarWinds, Wolters Kluwer & Trend Micro.
Ed Lenta steps into APJ VP role at Clickhouse
Clickhouse has hired Ed Lenta as its new VP for APJ, who will lead the company’s go-to-market efforts in the region.
Based in Singapore, Lenta will be responsible for accelerating the adoption and expansion of ClickHouse Cloud and the open-source database in the region, empowering enterprises and public sector agencies to solve their growing data challenges.
He was most recently as General Manager of Asia Pacific and Japan at Databricks.
New Ping Identity SVP and GM, APJ
Cybersecurity company Ping Identity has appointed Akkasha Sultan as SVP and general manager, APJ.
He will head Ping Identity’s growth strategy, customer engagement, and market expansion across one of the world’s most strategically important and rapidly evolving digital economies.
In his new role, Sultan will spearhead Ping Identity’s business strategy and market expansion across APJ.
In a statement, Sultan said, “I look forward to working with our customers, partners, and teams to help them navigate that transformation while driving growth across the region.”
